Statement Of Vindication

Yesterday, as I had nothing else to do, I began to put disks that had thrown out the room What was my surprise? it was to find the Pussy Whipped Bikini Kill of , then I started to reminisce about that time that only listened to women's groups. I found a lot of groups, very good and totally varied estitlos but actually I liked (and like) are a touch of Riot Grrrl . Between memory and nostalgia as I ended up rambling about the riot grrrl movement, from its inception until his untimely end.

Once upon a time ...

The protagonists of the movement there for the 90 were characterized by a great eagerness to rebel against everything (especially against the male gender) and cause people to oir.Una they could be very curious anecdote was that of Jennifer Finch (bass and vocals of L7), which gave the audience a buffer used in the Reading festival 1992. Both burst and bustle
was not enough, what would change things would be the direct actions, sought release. Everything began to conceive through self-management of fanzines or women-only concerts. That's when the movement began to spread. Bikini
Kill at shows left that women seized the microphone to tell any excess by the male gender (sexual abuse etc ...)

Now is when the kill ...

Nothing lasts forever, but there are ways and forms. It is a pity that everything has to make and take negrocio piece. This was what happened to the riot grrrls, all what they were finding, repudiated and turned opposed. A clear example are the Spice Girls Can not? reivindicanban them the course,''Girl Power''when in fact they were a single image. But the story does not end there, the story continues with Madonna, Cristina Aguilera and Britney Spears.
